Mini Holland Consultations

Kingston.Mrkt.9.14

We met with Kingston Officers and Councillors and they planned to go to consultation on four mini Holland schemes in June 2016.

1 Surbiton
This is the middle section of the Kingston to Surbiton to Tolworth route via Surbiton Crescent and Avenue Elmers. Links to Surbiton station are provided by Claremont Road and St Marks Hill.

2 Fountain Roundabout, New Malden
A junction or crossroads with traffic lights and shared space for cyclists replaces the roundabout.

3 Wheatfield Way
Two way segregated cycle track runs from College Roundabout to Kingston station save for a shared space section near Old London Road.

4 Kingston Station Plaza
A cycle hub is planned together with links to the river.

The June round does not include Ewell Rd or Penrhyn Rd on the Kingston – Surbiton – Tolworth route, which are for later consultation. As are Kingston to New Malden and Kingston Vale. Please watch for details of the consultations on the Borough website.
