Sunday 15th January. a cold drizzly day saw 8 intrepid Cyclists willing to brave the conditions, leave via Kingston Bridge, Teddington, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, St Margerets, Isleworth, Syon Park, Brentford, South Ealing, Ealing Common, West Acton, Park Royal, Grand union Canal Towpath to Harlesden for lunch at the ‘Grand Junction Arms’, then return to the Canal towpath to Ladbroke Grove, Shepherds Bush, Brook Green, Barons Court, Fulham to Bishops Park Cafe for Tea & BP, then Putney Bridge, Putney, Barnes Common, Roehampton gate of Richmond Park, White Lodge, Ham cross, Ham Gate, Latchmere to Kingston. Total 30 Miles, thanks to Kim for Back-marking & as always thanks to John for the Bread Pudding.
Wednesday 14th September. With rapidly fading light, 10 Cyclists left via Kingston bridge, towpath to Hampton Court bridge, East Molesey, Esher, to Claygate for refreshments at ‘the Swan Inn’, then Hinchley wood, Long Ditton, Surbiton to Kingston. Total 11 Miles.
A huge thank-you to everyone who has come out for a Bread Pudding ride this year, we are sure it was a large reason why we have been named as Ride Leader of 2015 by the London Cycling Campaign.

Ride London, Freecycle event. Saturday 1st August, the freecycle event is where the Mayor of London closes some of the central London streets to traffic for 1 day, this year it is Saturday 1st of August, why not join the Kingston Cycle Campaign ride from Kingston Market place starting at 9.45am, about 14 Miles, the route uses mostly quiet parks & roads, with no steep hills, it will take approx 2 hours & will be led by our regular ride leader Roger, supported by several other Marshals to show the way. If you wish you can register on the Ride London website, but there is no need, you can just turn up at the Market place on the day.
There will be a return ride leaving at 3.00pm from Birdcage walk.
Note. Anyone under 16 is very welcome, but must be accompanied by a responsible Adult. Do remember to carry some drinking water, also Suncream if it’s a hot day.
